Guest Speaker: Amanda Salazar, Director of Member Engagement Manufacture Alabama
Amanda is currently the Director of Member Engagement at Manufacture Alabama, where she leads strategic communications and membership development. She also is responsible for executing the associations events.
Amanda grew up in Pennsylvania, graduated high school in Florida and spent a few years in North Carolina before graduating from Auburn University with a BA in Public Relations. Amanda has worked as a marketing manager, promotions director and most recently, a digital sales manager for WAKA – the local CBS affiliate in Montgomery. She worked with a team of 11 account executives to exceed monthly and yearly budgets by increasing local new business and advancing its digital offerings. Amanda is actively engaged with her community serving on the Magic Moments River Region Board, Child Protect Board and is a founding board member of the Alabama Chapter of ‘WiM’ Women in Manufacturing.
Amanda currently resides in Montgomery with her husband Wilber and their two fur babies, Trooper and Max.
